Lost Wax Casting

Loxt Wax Casting was mastered by mankind 3700 BC and is now the most common production method used for sculpture making around the world.

There are several common methods of lost-wax casting around the world, each with different levels of refinement and cost. Some are very fine, but can only produce small sculptures, not larger sizes. Some are rougher, and cannot produce fine sculptures but can be used to produce large sculptures. After 12 years of research and development, at Vincentaa we use 3 main lost-wax casting methods.
Process 1: Plaster casting 2: Silicon casting 3: Sand casting

GYPSUM CASTING

The gypsum casting method is mainly used for casting small-sized sculptures with high precision requirements, which can well retain the details of the sculptures. At Vincentaa, we recommend this method to many artists’ sculptures. The disadvantage is that it cannot cast sculptures over 80cm, and the price is high.

SILICA SOL CASTING PROCESS

The silica-sol casting method can cast sculptures between 10 and 20 meters, the detail is not as fine as the plaster casting method, but for medium and large size sculptures is a casting method used with high frequency

SAND CASTING

Sand casting is mainly used for the casting of large sculptures, the surface fineness is poor in these three casting methods, but because it can cast more than 2 square meters at one time, so the production effect is high, for large size sculptures also need this large square meters of casting method, because the final presentation of quality will be high

Hand Forging

With the best forging team in China, Vincentaa is able to handle both convex forging and the more difficult concave forging with ease. Whether it is a 1.5mm or 5mm stainless steel or copper plate, our forging craftsmen are like magicians, turning them into a variety of shapes.

Surface Treatment for Hand Forging

We have diferent kinds of surface treatment, the diferent surface wil make the sculpture totally diferent. For bronze statue the common used is PatinaFor Stainless steel sculpture we have mirror polishing surface, paint, brushed, electroplating surface.
The fiberglass sculpture usually make in paint and electroplating surface.

Cold Casting

Cold casting is mainly used for the production of fibreglass and resin sculptures. It is called cold casting because, in contrast to the dewax casting method, no heating is required here.

Carvings

We have very rich experience in carving and can carve with diferent materials,.like stone carving, copper plate carving, foam carving, etc
Different materials and machines are used for different engraving.

Marble
3D Print
CNC Foam Model
Wood Carving
Bronze

Model Making

The model is very important for sculpture, it determines the shape of the sculpture. Model design is also the first step inproduction,Now we olten use 30 models, which are cheaper and laster to design, and can render dilfterent colors, so thatcustomers can make the right choice before placing an order

Sand casting is mainly used for castinglarge sculptures, andthe surface fineness is the worst among the three castingmethods. But because it can cast more than 2 square metersat a time, the production effect is the highest. For large-scalesculptures, this casting method oflarge square meters is alsoneeded, because the final quality will be the highest
